Custom T-Shirts to Canada - Part 2

We said that we would show you the design and the results for the custom printed t-shirts we sent to Canada. We are going to better than that and show you the whole process so you can get a good feel for how we work at You Design It. There were a few parameters to this print job that made it a little more difficult than usual. They were:

  1. First time to ship to Canada
  2. Oversized T-Shirt Printing
  3. All Over print that hits over two seams
  4. Rush job due in less than 5 business days

Sounds like fun, right? Well…it is for us because that it what we are here for! The company that contacted us was Area Magazine out of Toronto, Canada and they knew all the right things to say to get us printing. They mentioned contacting one of our main competitors and said that they weren’t willing to take on the t-shirt printing job. This, obviously, was one of the main reasons we were so eager to get after this one. The other reason was how good these printed t-shirts were going to look as a finished product.

Here is how the order went. We were contacted and asked what we could do to accomplish the print. We needed to see the artwork to make sure we were all on the same page. Here is what we received:

We then created a proof of what it would look like on the shirts once it was printed. We received approval by our customer and it looked like this:

Both sides agreed that this could be done and was going to be a hit. So, without further delay, here is the picture of the final shirts with some notes included on the shirt:

Oh yeah, one more thing….the shirts were a mixture of sizes and styles. We’ll let you be the judge (although we were thrilled with the end result) of how they came out.

Nice Blog. I like the layout you used. Did you make that yourself?
