As we were creating T-shirt designs for St. Patrick’s Day, we thought it would be best just to show you some of the artwork we have to work with. Here’s a collection of 13 of the best images we have to use for printed St. Patrick’s Day tee shirts. We counted them grain, for obvious reasons, but you should have the opportunity to change the color to anything you want in our online T-shirt designer. One of the funnest events of the year is coming up soon. You know the one I’m talking about, it’s St. Patrick’s Day, and it’s a great reason to party! From our experience last year. It’s also one of the most popular events to have custom designed T-shirts created.

We have quite a few different pieces of artwork related to St. Patrick’s Day such as four leaf clover’s, leprechauns, and plenty of fonts to type your message. Will be posting design ideas for custom St. Patrick’s Day T-shirts throughout the week to help you look good on the big day.

Well, we had mentioned this oversized T-shirt design a week or two ago and showed you the artwork as we were printing it. It was a special one for us because it was much larger than most T-shirt designs we had ever printed before. The back of these custom Christian T-shirts was over 16 inches in width, and we were used to printing within 11 inches in width. Turns out, we weren’t the only ones who were happy with the end result.

This oversized T-shirt design was printed for Grace Presbyterian Church, and they were nice enough to send us a picture of one of their youths wearing it. One of the other cooler features about these printed T-shirts was putting the front design off centered and to the bottom.
Without further ado, here is how they came out:

There are many ways to accomplish getting the distressed T-shirt printed look on your t-shirt designs. The easiest way we have found to do it is by having four different preset distressed filters that we lay on top of any design and match it to the color of the background. You have to be very selective when you choose the level of distressing for the custom printed t-shirts, because it can sometimes wipe out the overall design or text being printed on the tee. To illustrate our four different levels of distress, we first are going to start out with a simple design of a star:

The last one we use is a “very fine” distressed filter:

These filters can be combined, used by themselves, or even rotated to all provide a different look depending on the T-shirt artwork. Please let us know if you would like to use one of our distressed builders on your next screen printed t-shirts project.
