Next Up in the T-Shirt Pattern Design Collection – Tiger Stripes

Not to be outdone by the army camo, next up in the new t-shirt design collection of patterns is the tiger stripes. This design group incorporates less print colors and would cost less for that reason. Tiger stripes are very trendy right now and versatile with many different uses. It is important to note that we can take this design concept and use it for different mascots, different events, or different themes.

First up is the traditional orange and black for the tiger stripes.

Want to stand out from the crowd? Go with a bright color like a bright green for your volleyball team.

Need to dress it down and look stylish and sophisticated? Go with a pink and black option.

New T-Shirt Design Collection….First Up – Army Camo

We recently got started on a new design collection that fuses popular patterns with text. And although these popular patterns typically have exact colors associated with them such as green and khakis for camouflage, you’ll see that these designs can be mixed up for any color set or occasion.

The first set we created is the army camouflage pattern paired with the standard stencil font. These two styles together give it a great military look that is very popular right now. First, we have the standard army green camo design for a fictional bear football team.

The next design is the same concept with maroons and pinks substituted for the traditional army camo colors.

Softball T-Shirt Design

This next example can be viewed as winter or cold climate army camouflage colors or just as the colors of the fictional bears baseball team.

Keep in mind that it doesn’t have to be bears and we can edit this design concept to match your mascot or any other idea you may have.

You Design It T-Shirt Infographic

As infographics gained in popularity we became big fans of their ability to educate about a subject in an entertaining way. It made us want to look all over the web to try and find an infographic about t-shirts. We searched and surfed and couldn’t find one anywhere. That is when the light bulb went off, we would just have to make our own t-shirt infographic.

After doing a little research we found 10 pretty cool facts about t-shirts that most people wouldn’t know. We took those 10 facts and created a custom illustration for each one and put it on a really long t-shirt. The way we tried to set it apart was by building it with CSS instead of making it one big jpeg. It was a fun exercise albeit a very long and intensive one.

Emptees – A Great T-Shirt Resource

It’s easy to use a resource everyday and take it for granted without ever mentioning to other people how helpful it really is. Very often I find myself searching through Emptees list of tees or designers to keep an eye out for trends, new talent, or just great designs.

Emptees is also a terrific place to showcase your designs and get a feel for how they will be received. The community based nature of the site means that feedback and support from other artists is very common and it’s a great way to get buzz for your new designs. They also have an awesome resources section where you can find links to helpful articles and tutorials. Whether you’re a seasoned designer or a novice…Emptees is a terrific, free resources that shouldn’t be ignored.

Shred Clothing’s Backwards Sale

This is a pretty clever sale that I had never seen before. Shred Clothing, run by Jonathan Kruse, is having a Christmas sale that lowers the discount each day closer to Christmas. Talk about needing to hurry to buy the goods. The sooner you buy, the more you save. This will really help those that procrastinate and worry about delivery at the last minute.

I guess it is safe to say that you can save more money and save yourself a headache by ordering early. Sounds like a win/win situation to me.
